William C. Goodridge Freedom Center and Underground Railroad Museum Free Event

On May 24th, AARP is hosting a free reception and educational program at the William C. Goodridge Freedom Center and Underground Railroad Museum located at 123 East Philadelphia Street in York. Beginning at 6pm, you can meet a William Goodridge reenactor, tour the museum and enjoy refreshments – all while learning how a prominent African American businessman in York repeatedly risked his own life to guide escaping slaves to freedom.
