Eagles G Brooks out for season with torn Achilles

Philadelphia Eagles right guard Brandon Brooks took to Twitter on Monday to confirm that he tore his left Achilles tendon, an injury that will sideline the Pro Bowl performer for the upcoming season.Brooks previously tore his right Achilles in 2018.”So I guess now that news is out yes I tore my other Achilles but when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. I’ll be back and better than ever. Appreciate the love,” Brooks wrote.Brooks, 30, reportedly sustained the injury earlier Monday while running on the practice field at the team’s NovaCare Complex. Brooks had been rehabbing from shoulder surgery to repair the dislocation he sustained in Week 17 against the New York Giants.
