TE Burton inactive for Bears against Eagles

Chicago Bears tight end Trey Burton, suffering from a groin injury, will be inactive when the Bears meet the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC wild-card playoff game on Sunday.Safety Eddie Jackson, who has been slowed by an ankle injury, is active.It’s not clear how or when Burton sustained the injury. He caught five passes for 33 yards in the Bears’ 24-10 victory over the Minnesota Vikings last week.Burton won a Super Bowl ring with the Eagles last year before being signed as a free agent by the Bears in the offseason. Backup tight end Adam Shaheen is expected to start.
