Report: Eagles eye Bills RB McCoy in trade

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy is the focus of the Philadelphia Eagles’ bid to acquire a lead runner, according to a report from News 4 in Buffalo on Tuesday.The Eagles placed starting running back Jay Ajayi on injured reserve on Monday due to a torn ACL, and backup Corey Clement has been limited for two weeks by a quadriceps injury. Veteran third-down back Darren Sproles is not 100 percent, recovering from a hamstring injury.McCoy, 30, has two years remaining on his existing contract, a five-year, $40 million deal agreed to with the Bills after being traded from Philadelphia. He spent the first six years of the NFL career with the Eagles, but was traded to the Bills during the Chip Kelly roster overhaul.
